Instead the music continues to come through my PC speakers. Furthermore, Win 7 recognizes and pairs my headset to the computer but I when I try to stream PC based audio/music files through my headset it doesn"t work like it used to under Win XP. When I try to run the suggested program "SetupBtwDownloadSE" it will detect the adapter but fails at the point of validation producing the following error message: Failed to update bluetooth sotfware. Rocketfish"s site redirected me to WIDCOMM"s site to download the current driver/software program for Win 7. I have misplaced the original install disk (if there was ever one) and I need to reinstall the software for this adapter so I can use my headset for computer audio and telephony access. My bluetooth settings under Devices & Printers are configured properly and the bluetooth adapter will recognize my Rocketfish wireless headset, pairing it to my computer and providng me with all the services. The bluetooth devices listed under network adapaters are also reported as working properly. Both drivers are reported to be working properly. and Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator driver version. ![]() Win 7 sees the adapter and has installed both Broadcomm Bluetooth USB 3.0 driver version 12. I attached a Rocketfish Micro USB bluetooth adapter model RF-MRBTAD to a USB 2.0 port and the adapter"s blue light is on.
